while installing win xp after formatting an fatal error comin "installation failed g:\i386\asms :incorrect fn.

while installing win xp after format completes in the setup will complete in approx. 39 mins error coming..it shows fatal error which says " one of the components that windows needs to continue setup could not be installed incorrect function..can some one help me ..thnks in advance

      Make sure your CD-Rom Drive is G: and try getting another disc.

      DEAR

      GO TO BIOS ( F2 AT START UP)
      MAKE CD DRIVE AS FIRST BOOTABLE DISK

      PRESSF10 EXIT Y.

      INSERT XP CD IN CD DRIVE,

      START REINSTAL

      STAGE COMES , WHEN IT WILL ASK WHERETO INSTAL
      SAY C DRIVE ( YOUR PRESENT SYSTEM DRIVE )

      ITWILL SAY SYSTEM ALREADY INSTALLED INDRIVE

      CONTNUE ANYWAY
      (READ INSRUCTIONS ON SCREEN) D FOR DELETING YOUR PRESENT SYSTEM DRIVE
      CONTINUE INSTALLATION REBOOTAT END( IT WILL DO IT AUTOMATICALLY

      INSTALL AUDIO VIDEO DRIVERS FROM MOTHERBOARD DISK( IF NEED BE0
