My computer (HP dv2000) started having a lot of problems when I would turn it on. It would have a lot of errors so I got the hard drive replaced and put Windows XP. ***NOTE: The computer came with Windows Vista and I replaced the harddrive and installed Windows XP sp3. ***
I thought everything would be working great but it has only been a few days since I got the harddrive replaced and it's getting errors again. I have only downloaded iTunes and AIM. I keep getting Kernel32.dll and/or the computer just starts with the option of putting it in safe mode, normal mode etc.
Im lost on what could be the problem. Please help.

kernel32.dll errors are usually caused when your computers registry system contains errors or when certain system files are missing or broken; kernel32.dll problems are a sign of a very unhealthy computer registry…
Most DLL errors are caused by poor maintenance of your PC. But no-fear, repairing your kernel32.dll problem can be just as simple as following these 4 easy steps below:
1. Download the kernel32.dll Repair Tool
2. "This is a free download - You'll see a new window pop-up for confirmation." Click "Save File" and follow the simple installation instructions.
3. Scan your computer with the RegCure application.
4. Click the "Fix Errors" button to repair kernel32.dll.

There are many possibilities. Is it an Invalid Page Fault error? I'll assume you are not overclocking anything. Here's a couple of things to check:
Make sure all your drivers, especially video are the latest.
If you have two memory modules, pull one and see if the problem persists. If it does switch for the other.
