I think that your problems are your graphics card and ram. I would suggest 4gb ram and an Nvidia 8800-9800 graphics card. With those upgrades you should be able to play on high settings with no lag.

Whenever you wish to buy a game, always make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements.

check the box or go to the manufacturer’s website to check and see if you meet them.

if all needs are met, and your computer is till going slow, consider the possibility of viruses/spy ware slowing down your overall system’s functionality. scan with adequate programs like avg, adaware, etc. to get rid of them all.

Well your graphics could be the problem, and same with the RAM. If you have too many background processes running it can eat up your RAM and overload the processor, and the end result is slow games.

you may need to update your graphics card drivers
or update to the latest version of direct x
or get more ram(i would recomend 4gb as i dont think 1 is enough)

try more ram or a video card with more memory also try increasing the refresh rate on your monitor if you can or get a monitor with a quicker response time

      a number of reasons,

      These are high requirement games.
your processor is quite old which may be part of the reason why it slows.
Your graphics card is not that high spec, even though it is a 8 series

You could try getting a new graphics card, that should help with most of the problems, my old pc had same spec as yours and had trouble running most of those games. You could also get a new processor but it would still need a new Graphics card.

The graphics card plays a key role. Ensure that the graphics memory is well above the game’s req’d amount. Also another GB of RAM at least would help (as it can also be assigned to the graphics). It may also be you have too much RAM to graphics so not enough RAM. Check the BIOS.

Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause “computer slow”.
