Why can’t I get to the Symantec website?

I bought the new Norton Internet Security 2009 thing and I installed it. Then it tells me to activate it..so I click on "Activate Now"..and I'm assuming it's supposed to take me to the Symantec website. Well.. it doesn't. My web browser tells me its a broken link..or something else. What do I do? I don't have any other antivirus programs, or a firewall up.. or any parental blockings that would cause this. So..?
