why cant i load games and my mcafee virus in my hard drive?

ive done it many times before and it has worked, but for some reason now. it wont let me.

      If your using windows 7/vista

      1) Download All The Latest Game Patches

      1b) This Includes all your hardware, graphics car etc

      2) Get Rid Of Macafee (its S***) Use Bit Defender as you can stick it in game mode so it dosent take up so much processor power

      3) if the problem presists go back to Xp!
