Why can't I pull up the Symantec website?

Okay, I just got Norton Internet Security 2009 activate it and it says that it can't connect to Symantec Server. What is wrong with my computer? Can you go to any thing for Norton to help me?
Can you get on the Symantec website? Anything with symantec in it can't open. Don't have a virus or a worm.

      You may have a virus, such as the Conficker. I would go to the eye chart http://www.confickerworkinggroup.org/infection_test/cfeyechart.html and see if you have it. If not, then maybe your internet connection was bad, or the Symantec server was down for maintenance. I would try those steps, and try again later to be sure.
