sound like to me you might have bigger issues than not being able to delete yahoo messenger and the toolbar.

I suggest you update your antivirus software and run it! If you have a antispyware program I would update and run it as well.

If you have neither I recommend Ad-Aware for a spyware scanner > http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?tag=lst-1&cdlPid=10844457
and for an online scanner go to Trend Micros Housecalls free online scan here > http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Something else I highly recommend is getting McAfee’s SiteAdvisor, http://www.siteadvisor.com/ it will inform you if a site you are on is safe or not.

I don’t know where you got your “winks” from but the siteadvisor would have let you know if the website you got them from was safe or not to download them!

take the time to make sure you have your PC clean then you can work on uninstalling messenger and the toolbar if you feel you still need to!

      hope this helps
