Why can’t I uninstall the Sims 2/University?

Ok, I haven’t played the game in years, so I’m like it’s just taking up space and needs to go; but when I try to uninstall it, it like says that I need to uninstall the expansion packs first. I can’t even see the option to unistall the expansion packs. Please help.

Mine did that to me too. When I finally got it uninstalled, it took away Veronaville on my Sims 2 game.
