Why cant i uninstall the Sims Life Stories?

I was install the Sims Life Stories today cos i wanted to start all over again but when the installing finished i accidently touch a wire and my whole computer turned off! Now when i try to play the game it wont work. even if i try unistalling it wont work. it comes up with the same message saying error. can someone please help me! i really want to play this game! thanks
