Sometimes, if it is taking an abnormal amount of time for a website to load, my browser takes me automatically to a google images search for whatever I typed in the URL. This is an annoying feature; is there any way I can turn it off? Please don't suggest Mozilla . . . I hate Mozilla.
Google is already my default search engine . . . my problem is that it searches, in images, for things I type in the url bar, where you type "www.whatev.com". I don't want it to search for anything; I want it to take me to the website that I've told it to.

Open this website.
http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html
From there, you can set Google as your dafault Search Engine.
This will change your Default Search Engine and get rid of Google Images Search.
