My limewire detects a firewall (little icon of a globe w/a brick wall in front of it. In bottom left corner) and wont connect. It does this even when I shut off my firewall. Sometimes it connects, but mostly it doesnt. I've added Limewire to my McCafee program permissions and even uninstalled Limewire then reinstalled it. Nothing works. This started all of a sudden about 2 months ago. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How are you getting your internet? Do you have a router? Wireless? Comes thru a hole in the wall, you don't know? Well there is probably a hardware firewall downstream of your computer's software firewall (that you say you disabled)
