ok well from the sound of it it is your internet connection. you probably dont have big enough bandwidth. this in gameing terms is called your ping. if you have a high ping in games chances are your going to have a lagy game even if your computers is really good. also virtual mememory is pretty much RAM but made from your hardrive.

Well, how old is your computer? and what is its operating system? do you use Dial-Up, or broadband, as your internet speed may affect your game play.
The game may need more RAM, so check the “System Requirements,” that should be on the websites main page. After doing that, (IF YOU HAVE A PC, i don’t know how to get specs for a mac) go to the start menu , and execute the program called “Run” then type in “dxdiag” and it should give you your computer specs. If your computer isn’t up to snuff, go get a better RAM card, or upgrade your internet service speed.
and Virtual Memory…i think its your CPU, or how well your computer can handle multiple things at a time. I don’t know exactly though.

Do this.
Go to start, run. Type in msconfig. Select ’services’. And uncheck any of the useless crap in there. I recommend disabling computer browser, ktmrm, server, distributed transaction, perf log and alerts, anything have to do with ‘remote access’. Smart card, smart card removal, windows image acq., tablet pc, telephony, distrib. link tracking, windows time, windows error reporting (EWW), windows defender (optional), wmi perf. adaptor, parental controls (optional). After all that disabling, click at the bottom ‘hide microsoft services’, disable anything unused. Same goes for microsoft services, but don’t disable anything you’re unsure of. You can disable the windows update/windows firewall/windows defender, if you don’t need any of it. Takes up a lot of memory, so if you don’t need ANY of them, disable em.
Don’t restart just yet, click ’startup’, disable any startup crap you don’t need. Memory is mostly occupied by those, so don’t forget to. Restart after you’re done.
After doing so, click ’start’ at the bottom right, right click ‘computer’, and hit ‘properties’. Click on advanced system settings. Go into the tab, ‘advanced’, click ‘performance.’ Now this parts pretty optional, I personally use the option: ‘adjust for best performance. You can use a custom setting if you care enough to.
