I don’t want any silly answers please, as this is a serious question.
I use several programs at once, listen to the radio online through a streamer, keep Oultook open, etc.
The speed is perfectly fine in the morning, however at around 2pm everyday the computer slows down, its very difficult to switch between screens quickly, and the screen frequently freezes up for 20 seconds or more. As far as I know, there are no virus scans happening during this time - note its is slow for the WHOLE afternoon.
I don’t do anything different in the afternoon hours than in the morning, so I am at a loss as to why it is slower.

You slow down after lunch, because all of the other people who share your network or your local Internet Service Provider connection are also coming back from lunch and want to get online at the same time.

You slow down because most Microsoft programs are terrible at releasing memory they not longer need … so if you’ve had multiple programs opened all morning each one uses more and more memory and doesn’t release it when it’s finished … turn your computer off when you go to lunch … give it a chance to recover (you need a break and so does your PC) … once it reboots it will be as quick as it was in the morning
