i have AVG anti virus and mcafee, yesterday mcafee detected a virus in itunes, so i deleted it, scanned for viruses, didn’t find any and tried to reinstall itunes but got the same problem. has anyone experienced this before and know why it does this and how to fix it?
the virus it detects is trojan horse small.BOG.
which anti virus program is better, mcafee or avg?

You are playing a dangerous game.
having two anti virus systems on your computer can result in a complete system crash.
also your anti virus will be reduced to about 20% effectiveness.

You only need 1 anti virus program, otherwise they conflict with each other and dont work at optimal level!
Ive always used McAfee and have never had any major problems whatsoever.

i agree with guy above you definitely shouldnt have more that one anti virus on your computer they tend to butt heads and cancel each other .There was a problem MAJOR PROBLEM!! with AVG everyone that updated there software got the wrong info from AVG You should update AVG now and it should correct the problem.I had the same problem and the same detection yesterday it was driving me insane Idont know if this will correct this the Mcafee problem .Hope this helped.
