Why does my mcafee site advisor work sometimes and then other times it doesnt?

I am not doing anything different when I open my internet. And I click on the Mcafee icon and it says it is turned on.
Can someone give me any advice on why it works sometimes and other times it don’t?

when i search anything, no checks or question marks appears on ANY of the sites

      because it doesnt have enough data for the website.

      I would uninstall and reinstall it to fix it. That shouldn’t happen. If your mcafee bar turns grey it means the website your on is not tested though.So if that is what you mean, it is working fine.
