Why does the sound on my pc slow down every minute?

May 21st, 2008 · 2 Comments

Just came across a problem yesterday where when I listen to music the sound on my pc slows down to almost a halt for about 3 seconds and then starts back up again. The strange thing is…this happens exactly every minute after the last one ended…leading me to believe it could be a virus or spyware problem? I've ran housecall and adaware to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem who could assist me?

Thanks in advance.

That usually happens when your CPU usage is too high.Try shutting off unneeded programs while you're listening.
