I borrowed a copy of Kaspersky Internet Security from a friend (the 3-user one), and whenever I install it it won’t let me go online. I open IE7 after installing KSIS and it always says “internet explorer cannot display webpage” as if I’m not connected. I went to the site for help but nothing worked. How do I get it to work?
Please don’t say “use firefox”. I don’t want to change my browser.

You are going to have to accept the times friend. Internet Explorer is too tightly knit with your system. You are going to screw yourself that way. You security program is working fine. Anywhere you go on the internet with Internet Explorer is unsafe. Download Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer sucks. Accept it. Sorry.

it is because your security software is not allowing the IE7 to work .. This often happens . If you want to make sure of my point check the working of IE7 in safe mode with networking ..
try this , if you are sure that security software is causing the problem , make a call to them they will configure the security according to it.

Hello,
Probably the result of the latest Windows updates. I’d advise you to
* set Anti-Hacker in ‘Training Mode’
* delete any rules you created for IE
* reboot your computer
* try to connect to the Internet.
Now you will get questions from Anti-Hacker and new rules will be created.
If you need more help please feel free to ask in the Kaspersky Forums:

Also remember to upgrade to KIS 8 sometime this month, there are a lot of major improvements that have been made.
