Why doesn’t “new email”, “reply” or “forward” suddenly not work for Yahoo Mail when using Mozilla Firefox?

Since yesterday, I am suddenly not able to create, reply or forward an email. I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser; but it has worked with Yahoo flawlessly for over a year. There seems to be no problem with this when using other browsers or other webmail services.
Why has this happened? How can it be fixed?
