why don't my buttons on my yahoo toolbar work?

I have the latest version of yahoo but I can not access anything through the buttons on my toolbar. When I try to re-download yahoo toolbar I get a message stating that the file is either corrupt or incomplete. What can I do? If I switch back to classic yahoo I can not acces yahoo instant messenger.

      Did you try un-installin Yahoomessenger and all its components than re-installing it all? that may be all u need to do.

      If not than im not sure ^^;
