I’m using Azuz P4V8X-X mother board and is working well on Win98. I tried to upgrade it to Window XP recently but failed. Reformating and loading of window files to window installer is successful but after rebooting it hangs up. I tried to reinstall back the win98 and it’s successful and no problem whatsoever. I tried again several times installng the Window xp but the same problem. I even tried transfering the hardisk to another computer and install the window xp and it works without problem because i taught the hardisk maybe the problem. Is there any setup to be made in the Bios? I think the motherboard is good because it works on window 98 as well as the hardisk because it works also in the the other computer.. Pls. help me.

Check if there is a new version of the BIOS available. Also if the MB is compatible with XP.

hey u just check out u r processor fan its working well or not it also efected ur hangup problm n u also try 2 changed ram it may b ram prblm
