I just want to know the list or possible events that may lead to a Registry corruption in a computer.
I just want to know the several reasons on why a Registry is possibly corrupted in a computer.
Additional Information:
My computer's registry is currently corrupted, it works fine unless I do the most crucial stuff like installing, reinstalling, uninstalling, System Restore, Back Up and the like. I've been checking almost on all Anti-Viruses if I have a virus but it doesn't seem to check if there is.

While there are numerous guidelines for writing well behaved software programs not all programmers follow them. One of the more flagrant lapses is the poor implementation of removal scripts that end up leaving program fragments, files, file fragments, .dlls, and registry entries behind. Over time these fragments can bloat the registry and cause registry corruption that may slow the registry's function or efficiency. There are other situations that can cause corruption, viruses are certainly a concern when the subject of corruption is discussed.
