I have set the settings to update immediatly, but to no solution!! i understand that it need to load the settings in memory. but i think there is a software error causing the program to constantly ask for an update. is there a particular file i need to delete or what?????

it needs to update and then get loaded into memory as its a T.S.R. program and is run active scans and then it loads itself and fixes any virus during scans and can tell if data has changed while its loaded into memory keeps it active
P.S. T.S.R. = terminate stay ready means its always in memory to keep it alive and active very small foot print

When new updates to any software takes place, i.e., new drivers, security patches….you downloaded the required changes…in order for the changes to fully take place, the computer needs rebooted for the system changes…when you reboot a script runs when the computer restarts making changes to that specific program and needed system registry changes. I hope I read your question correctly….about 'restarted it'!
