I would really appreciate an answer to the above question because that is my biggest problem now, but basicly i need someone to tell me how to use this anti-virus as well
first i had AVS on my laptop then i was told it was no good so i switched to Kaspersky the only problem is i don’t know how to use it. what does it mean when it tells you to quarantine then it wants you to open up a file? on my pc i have spyware sweeper, i think that’s what its called, anyway whenever it finds a virus it gives me the option of quarantining it and that takes care of it. but now with Kaspersky it gives me the option of quarantining the viruses and when i click quarantine it wants me to open a file or folder so what should i be opening or do i need to create one? and… that’s about it. if you have any other advice of how i should approach this anti-virus or something else that i should be doing that i am not doing i would really appreciate it. thank you
ok… but when i click quarantine its asking me to open a file that is already on my computer and i do not know what it is asking me

Kaspesky is definetely better than Norton. But basically quarantine means to get rid of a certain file (because it may have a virus in it)

Kaspersky is certainly better.in my opinion if it quarantines something that is all that needs to be done,no need to open any file once that is done,for the record Eugene Kaspersky Russian or not is one of the best security specialists in AV apps out there.try not to worry and see any problem where there is none.when your panel(GUI) says computer protected it means it.found when you click or double click the red k tray icon .hope you did get all of AVG out of your machine.not that it is No good.We think Kaspersky is better.
