My computer (a desktop pc) and internet (which is wireless) are running so damn slow!!. I have done so many scans using the AVG Antivirus and it shows no malware viruses or something that would harm my computer. I tried uninstalling some programs and still the same. The Local Disk is 57.2 GB. I dont know what's wrong?
Can anybody help?

Your internet connection is provided by your ISP. Most of them provide "up to" services. This means if you bought "up to 8mbps" you may only get 4Mbps.
As you mention viruses, you must be running the virus plagued "Windows" operating system from Microsoft. Another problem with Windows is the so called "rot". This is where Windows grins to a halt after use. The best fix is to simply backup your personal files and reinstall Windows. The second best fix is to use "speed boost" tools, such as this one:

Your best bet is to try doing some maintenance on the computer itself. Start by cleaning out old and unnecessary files (use disk clean-up under system tools in the start menu). That should also clean out your temporary internet files which bogs down your internet connection. Another good idea is to defragment your hard drive (also found in system tools). Hope this helps. Either that or - based on the size of your hard drive - it might be time to consider upgrading your computer.

Dear friend,
not to worry even an inch for this so little problem.
The only thing you have to do is to upgrade your RAM to be in the compatability with the Version Of Windows XP,softwares you are using, etc. It all depends on ur RAM and Paging file size.
I hope I have helped you more! If you found my answer right according to ur query, please do rate it up!
Yours truly,
Arif,
