All of a sudden in the recent weeks, my computer has gotten extreamly slow compared to the way it used to be. My internet speed is running at over 10mb/per second. So I know I have extreamly fast internet but it feels slow because it takes so long for pages to load.
I always do disk defragments and disk clean ups. This problem just started recently. I'm running windows XP and have not made any changes recently with my computer

Could be malware. Run a few full system scans (spyware/adware scan, trojan scan, virus scan, etc.) and make sure that your computer is entirely clear.
You might need more RAM and/or Hard Drive space. Anymore, less than 1GB of RAM and less than ~250GB of Hard Drive space isn't enough…So check that too.
