My computer started acting slow yesterday afternoon. I have avast antivirus and the kept telling me to renew my virus protection. I finally did today. I did a virus check and it said I was clean so I now have no idea why my computer is so slow. Any ideas?
I do a disk clean up every time I use the computer. I didn't add any programs or anything new. I can't even open things that aren't internet related. I couldn't even play spider solitaire without it acting weird. I can hardly type this
I do have a slightly old computer but it has just started acting like this. It randomly started acting slow yesterday

Defragment your computer. You can do that by accessing the administrative files . You could also delete large files that hold up your memory. It could also be that you have an old computer.

if u experience slow running of computer than first use disc cleanup to clean the temporary files, also u can check in task manager open it and in the process tab look out which process are running u can turn off any unwanted process that does not require for the time being so u can have a more ram to use for another programme and u will see the difference

TRY http://www.eugenepcfix.com My computer was slow because I picked up some spyware, adware, malware somewhere. A pop-up “XP Antivirus 2008” that told me that my computer was infected with a virus. I followed Eugene’s instructions now my PC is running great.
