it takes forever for it to start up and the internet is slow too. what can i do to make it faster. it didnt always use to be this way. it starting getting slow about a month ago.

you probably have spyware, or a virus, possibly just too much programs installed. Try removing some programs.

scan for viruses and do a disk clean up and a disk defrag.

maybe you have many programs on your computer.. try classifying them in folders. for example: pics..and songs. if our internet connection is your phone, then maybe the server may be down.. and if you hava a modem or DCL internet conection, try speaking to the pesron who manages your connection. try buying more RAM , or upgrade your gigabytes or megabytes, (hardware, that is). hope i've helped you..!

if your pc was always slow I would've said get more ram but if it only got slow a month ago then I have to agree with the guys who said scan for viruses and spyware, do a system clean up and try to free up some space on your hard drive.

There are lots of reason why a computer slows down, it could be a virus, a spyware, applications that are running, your memory and lots more. Some common things you can do is to scan your hard drive for viruses or spyware, if don't have one you can use AVAST, AVG or AVIRA (to download just google the name) these are free antivirus software, as for spyware try using spybot search and destroy which is also a freeware. You might also want to defrag your computer (Start-accessories-system tools-disk defagmenter) and diskcleanup which is together with the disk defragmenter. For start up, click start -run and type msconfig and look for the start up tab and unchecked any application that you don't want running at the start of your pc.

my comoputer is goin really slow can any1 help.
i have deleted all possible programs what i dont need.
bt its still goin really slow. it takes ages toll load up at internet page.
