i have windwos vista ultimate and after reinstalling a fresh copy the startup has slow down dramatically, and i mean DRAMATICALLY. i’ve already used tweaks such as disabling unwanted serviecs, and unticking programs from msconfig. and i dont understand why its still slow, because before i reinstalled a new one i used the same tweaks as i did now and the startup was super fast, it would porbably take a maximum of 30 secs for everything to load up, but now just to show the desktop it takes more than a minute. so why is it slow when i have used the same tweaks as before?please help!!
yes i have done disk AND registry cleanup and defragment, and by the its its the same computer as before, so its not a memory issue. because as i said before it was fast.
i always do disk AND registry cleanup and defragment. and my ram is 1 gig, cpu 2.4 ghz, now i know you might think its too little but this is teh same computer as before that vista was on and it was really fast, like startup would take 30 secs. and now its still the same pc with 1 gig of ram and 2.40 ghz cpu.

First off, I need to know a little bit about your computer; how much RAM do you have? And what type of CPU/Processor is in your computer?
