I asked earlier what would make my Internet explorer so much faster than Firefox. I was told that this wasn't supposed to happen. OK But it does. Every other page, Firefox is unable to find. Explorer has few problems. What's wrong?
How can I fix the Firefox?
I have wireless connection to DSL router shared with hardwired desktop. Same spyware Firefox and Explorer.
Can anyone tell me in simple terms what to do?
Thanks
The slow I can deal with, its the unable to locate the page message that occurs every other page.

Extensions make Firefox slow. Disable/delete ones you don't need.

If extensions are causing the problem, you can turn them off by going to tools->add ons-> and then disable the extensions. You should also try upgrading to the newest version of firefox. that might help too

try clearing the cookies from your browser. if this does not work try reinstalling Firefox. to help speed up your internet in general, go to this link http://webaccelerator.google.com/ and download Google web accelerator to help load pages faster. on some computers i have found that Google web accelerator will conflict with you tube but if it does you can always tell Google web accelerator to not run while you are on youtube or just uninstall the accelerator all together. internet will always be slow for people during peak times (the time when most people are on the net at once) and there is nothing you can do about that. hope this helps

With me its the opposite. Is it slow on both machines or just the wireless? Maybe your DNS cache is corrupted.
