for some reason, the game im playing on my computer is slow… i use a laptop toshiba Satelite A-135-S4656..
i upgraded it and i have 2.5 gb of ram now… and i think that should be more than enuff to run a game like World Of warcraft on it.
my computer processor is Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 520 @1.60 GHz, 1596 Mhz, 1 core(s), 1logical Processor(s)
i don’t think that my ram and my processor is the reason it run slow, (you can correct me if im wrong)but my brother have a same computer with 2.5 gb of ram but 1.7 Ghz… thats the only different… and WoW run on his computer very smoothly and perfectly…
the weird thing is that when the first 3-4 minutes i played it (WoW), it run very very smooth… and after that my computer is overheat and it starts to run slow…. do you think that if your computer become too hot, it would slow down a game? the fan underneath the laptop spin and you can hear the air sounds from the fan spinning. my brother computer doesnt do that kind of stuff and his computer run very fast when playing game on it….
also when i start my computer, it says “LSDelete program-operating system not found” or something like that…. maybe that is the problem.
so i wanna ask you people if u know anything is wrong with my computer….
ur tips and comment would be very helpful to me ![]()

Your video card will slow down if it is overheating in order to protect itself, which sounds like the problem. Try to get more ventilation under your machine, ie put a book under each corner, open a window, turn on a fan.

There could be several possibilities why it runs slow.
You can download SpeedFan, To change how fast your fan spins.
You can try adjusting your visual effects on WoW, And your computer.
Go to Start > Control Pannel > (something like System) > System > Advanced > Performance.

Go to RUN, in the box type in /dxdiag.
List all your specs, exact amount of RAM displayed there and your Processor and after that, your graphics card. Complete name.
I’m going to be doing some research on the laptop you have. If you wish to game on your laptop, I recommend getting an Alienware M17x with dual 1GB Graphics or HP Pavilion dv6 with a 512MB-1GB Graphics card.

I don’t recommend buying cheap laptops like those for gaming.
If you want a laptop that can play games on Low-Medium settings (GTA 4, Red faction Guerrilla, resident evil 5 etc) you should one of these laptops
HP Pavilion Dv6 $1499 (Special, finishes very soon)
4GB Ram DDR2 Memory
320GB Hard drive
17″ Screen
ATI Radeon HD 4530 512MB DEDICATED DDR3 Memory (OR BETTER)
[One of them has an ATI Radeon HD 4670 1GB Dedicated DDR3 Graphics card.. I only have the 512MB one, damn]
2.13Ghz Intel Duo Core
Or get this if you want to play practically any game at its highest settings..
Alienware M17x (My Customized version) $4559
6GB Ram DDR3 Memory
1TB Hard drive (Stores many games)
Dual ATI Mobility Radeon CrossFireX HD 4870 1GB (2GB Total)
2.8GHz Intel Mobility Extreme Quad

Alienware is the best for gaming. The laptop you currently have is for work and movies.
