Just had my PC wiped and added 2GB of ram so things should be ok. Everything is updated, Java, spyware, you name it, its there. Should mention that it is running off wireless internet and that the signal strength is between 76 - 86% which is good (right?) but it takes forever for the pages to load and when the pages are loading, everything else slows down, including the mouse - everything! It literally takes the PC about 2 minutes to load a page. I'm completely baffled. Please help me. Thank you!

is the computer slowing down only while browsing ?
try using firefox browser…
and there are many many many reasons why a computer can become slow like if there are many appplications/services running simultaneously…sometimes even antiviruses and antispywares slows down computer..
try defragmenting your drive…increase page file size and disable unncessary services..
maybe your internet connetion is also slow…

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Task List/Task manager.
Now click the Performance tab.
Leave your computer at ease for a few mins and watch the CPU Usage box. It shouldn't change much and should be under 10% usage.
If its over that you may have a rogue program using up too much CPU time. If so Click Applications and check what applications are running. IF nothing weird there click Processes then click the CPU title third coloum to order the tasks by CPU usage. Anything strange there?
If all normal try a different web browser and also scan your PC for virus and spyware and also do windows update.
