Durn thing takes up more RAM and CPU than anything else!
So how safe is my computer if I just don't have antivirus software? I've used Mac for the past 8 years and now I had to buy Windows for budget reasons… I never had antivirus on my Macs and the crashed, messed up, whatever about once a year. My new PC was going into lost its mind mode once a day until I uninstalled the factory installed Norton, now its incredibly fast and like a whole new notebook!

that's a major problem with norton
if you know how to use torrents, go download NOD32 with a crack instead

norton is a useless antivirus
AVG is now becoming like norton, very slow and taking up memory

Norton is a big bloatware.
Try AVG/AVAST

Cuz your like the masses and buy whatever the computer store tells your to get. Norton is a giant power hog and Symantec should be shot for ever creating it. But they created it because one day a boss walked onto the development floor and said "we need a stable program that works by the end of the day. And I dont have time to figure out how it works"
Thus we have Norton…2000 engineers, 8 hours, one crappy program.

I suggest you use NOD32, this av need a little resources and you may notice that your computer is still fast most specially during reboot.
