Ok so I start EE1, I play a game, and a little while after I play the game and I am in it restarts… So I look it up and decide to disable automatic system restart on fatal error… So I disable it, try again… It goes good until A little while after I start the game basically the same time as my computer would restart, my screen goes black and then a blue screen comes up, a STOP Message. It says Sdd000.dll had a fatal error. Why is this file now having fatal errors with Empire Earth 1 and not with anything else? I can play any other game but EE 1… Could someone maybe upload this file for me to replace the one I have in system 32 folder? Or would this corrupt my windows XP?
I need to know what Sdd000.dll can do… what does it do?

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

If you are running PlayXpert (http://www.playxpert.com), Sdd000.dll is one of it’s drivers for (the way I understand it) intercepting the video, keyboard, and mouse I/O and modifying it as necessary. I was also having this issue while playing World of Warcraft. However, PXP recently pushed out an update. If you shut down PXP, then re-open it, it should aut0-update. I haven’t tested it yet, but the update may fix the issue.
