Not even single bank or credit card company offers this feature. Will be very useful wen we lost the card…any ideas??

Because unlike debit cards where you need a pin, you have to sign for the credit cards. That’s kinda of like the verification that it’s your card. This is why its easier to steal a credit card than a debit card..

Well, my bank debit card has a PIN number..same thing. And when I use my credit card, I have to sign and then signatures have to match up.

Consumers are not liable for unauthorized charges…The banks are. Do you feel sorry for them? LOL

For online shopping, credit cards do have a password, so to speak. There’s a 3-digit code on the back of most cards, 4-digit on the front of American Express.
Many places where we shop they ask to see a driver’s license to verify the credit card.
If you lose your credit card, you report the loss to the issuer who very quickly cancels it because they are responsible for unauthorized charges.
