I don't know specifically why it won't work but I have a friend that has Windows Vista and she can't put many games that she had on her old dell on the new dell.

its probably because vista is garbage and has alooooot of compatibility issues with non-vista software and hardware. you could try to get the latest vista updates but more than likely the problem will still persist. sorry
