Hi,
Bitdefender is very good.
Maybe there was programs like McAffe, AVG or Norton before installing Bitdefender.
Some of this software leave Firewall settings in place, after un-installed or Deleted, for security reasons.
I suggest to check in your “Add & Remove Programs” if there is anything left from your previous security software.
If there is try to un-install, if unsuccessfull go to c:\program files and Deleted from the system, after that go to Run and type “msconfig”
and there in Startup tab and Devices tab see if there is any refferals to previous programs, if so UNCHECK them.
Uninstall Bitdefender, restart and try installing it again.
Best regards,
E.T.
