I tried using the removal tool to remove norton antivirus 2009, but it doesn’t work and freezes my computer, and then my computer won’t turn off so I have to shut the power off. Same thing happens when I use add/remove programs. How can I get rid of norton?

the only good way to remove norton is in safe mode which disables norton programs from starting up so you can remove them.then go to add/remove programs then select norton programs and uninstall them 1 by 1.
