Will having lots of songs and videos on my itunes slow down my computer?

i have a 250gb hard drive 1535 studio dell
and around 10gb of music and videos
with windows vista

or if i have around 3gb of music will it slow it down
also if i delete everything off of there later, will it go back to its original speed?

      Everything that takes up memory slows your computer down, so yes.

      It shouldn’t. If your computers hard drive is close to full that’s when you want to start worrying about things slowing down. With only 10gb and certainly with 3gb it shouldn’t slow down. It helps to keep music organized with iTunes especially if you are going to be adding more to your library later. Hope that helps.

      The videos do more than the music, but both the videos and the music are compressed into a format that makes things smaller.
