Will i be charged for verizon backup assistant?

I am not the primary account holder but i want to get backup assistant. I have a "My Verizon" and so does the primary account holder but he doesn't have backup assistant. Does he have to get the program before i do so it will be free?

      As long as you have a registered online account, the fee will be waived. It will tell you it is 1.99 but it will be credited back as long as you use the internet to check your account and stuff…I use the backup assitant when I need it and have never been charged for the use.
