I have McAfee on my computer which keeps viruses and things off (i think) so will McAfee still protect my computer? Because who wants by a CD so you can put only one song on your Ipod?

Yes it will, no worries
You can manually scan every file if you're that paranoid (which is not a necessarily a bad thing when it comes to the internet)
