Will Windows Vista Home Premium Work on two computers?

July 16th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I am building a PC and want to add Windos Vista Home Premium, but I dont want the OEM version because of problems that could occur thus id rather buy the proper version, the only problem is the price. My friend has Vista and said he will lend it to me, but my question is, will it work on my computer as well. How many users can use it?

Unless he bought a multi-license copy, it's not likely to work.
If you are building it from scratch, then all the devices you buy should come with drivers on disc, so I'd go with OEM.
Worst case scenario, you don't have drivers for your devices. As long as you have the drivers for your motherboard, you can connect to a network/internet and use Microsoft Update to find the drivers.
