when i tried to stream a video from the web, window media player will open up, but will say buffering and then it won't play. when i click on error message, it says error "C00D1197". so i went on the tools on the clciked performance and made sure everything was cool. But it STILL won't stream videos. i have player 11 and it runs on Vista. HELP

Hi Dear,
It means file type is not supported by Windows Media Player go 2 any other players like RealPlayer.

Install K-lite mega codec pack. It even comes with preset optios for streaming media, then media player 11 will work.
