I have windows 2000 on my computer. Recently I have not been able to launch a few of my programs that are on my comp because I keep getting .dll and ?.ocx ? errors theat pop up. Things like "the entry point XXXXXXXXX could not be found in gdi32.dll" or that the user32.dll is corrupted or incorrectly registered. If I try to fix the problem with the windows 2000 cd and do a repair, is there anything that can go wrong that will cause my comp to crash? And, if it does crash and ruin the OS, will I be able to reinstall the os from scratch and have the comp run like it used to. Getting the other software that will be lost from the reinstall will take time but it's not impossible for me. serrious, professional answers would be nice. Thanx
