Windows Live Messenger SHRegGetValueW, SHLWAPI.DLL?

When I try to log on to Messenger i get this error box with no code it just says: "SHRegGetValueW could not be located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.DLL" Does anyone know how to fix this? PLEASE HELP ME.

I tryed reinstalling and problem still persists.
