Windows Media Player won’t open, how do I uninstall it to reinstall?(10pts)?

It stopped working about a week ago. I don't know what happened. I'm trying to uninstall it so I can reinstall it and maybe it will work. But it isn't on the add/remove programs list. How do I do this?? Or at least get it to start working again. Please help
