I have already tried loading it from the Windows Xp Home Edition installation disk and going into the repair console but then when I type in bootcfg /rebuild it says there is an error because it is corrupted. How do I fix this?!

I think you can download a dll file from microsofte, also you can try ErrorFix.
It can fix most dll error.
