When i start my computer the following error message is shown
C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinSit.exe". Make Sure you typed the name correctly, and try again. to search for a file, click the Strat button and then click Search. There was a worm in my system and i removed it using Avg. This started happening after that. I tried uncheking the box in the msconfig-startup, but this keeps on happening. What is the solution? How can I fix it??

Get a real anti-virus program. AVG is definition based and is likely to (and apparently did) only remove part of the problem.
Whatever was calling up your worm to run is still there. It could be a start up item, but since it is telling you to search for it it probably isn't an icon.
Do start > run and type "MSCONFIG"
Go to the startup tab and try to find WinSit and uncheck it.
HOPEFULLY that's all AVG left behind, but you should be seriously wary. Consider reinstalling Windows, and seriously consider getting something better.

I would personally first try scanning with ad-aware 2007 then Spy-bot S+D if they don't fix it i recommend getting a good anti virus. I recommend Kaspersky Antivirus. If in doubt uninstall AVG install trial of Kaspersky, when it runs our, if you don't want to pay, uninstall it and put AVG back on.
