Windows video card blue screen error

ok
now here r some serious problems

yesterday i was playing a game called perfect world a mmorpg like i always do i close the computer at night and i go to sleep then i wake up in the morning and try to start the game again and guess what the blue screen pops up and restarts the comp.

now i think i know what the problem is i just don’t know the solution when i try to use the video card comp. restarts i can work fine on it but i can’t see any videos and neither play any game so i think it might be something with the directX i tell u it updated at max so are the drivers last versions of each so thinking all over again i can run the computer i can use all that i want but when i try to play a game or to see a video blue screen restart

i did reg fixes cleaned viruses(there were none but i scanned anyway) and did all i could but i cant get the video card to work on games and i rly don’t know what happened because it closed normal and all everything was normal i rly don’t know wtf happened :S

btw i use a geforce 8500 GT 512 mb ram
and 2 gb ram on comp.

i found solutions
1) WAIT 2 hours and let videocard heat
2) start->Run : dxdiag run ALL tests after u wait 1 hour from starting the computer
3) problem is overheating i think im 80% sure
