There have been people that have said that windows vista isn't that good. Yet other people say it's really good. My question is which one is it. My mom wants to get a new computer but she says that windows vista isn't that good and that's why we can't get a new computer. (she thinks this because some people at her work say they have it and it's slow and unreliable) I was wondering If there was a problem, is it fixed? and if there isn't a problem than that's great! thnx

HI recently Microsft released service pack 1 which has fixed many things since vista originally came out. However it is slow unless your getting a speedy computer. I recommend a dual core or a CORE 2 Duo and minimum 2gb of ram but 4gb would be better. If you can get that then go for it if it ends up you dont like vista you can always put windows XP on it!

Well first off, some computers still do come with Windows XP. You can speak to a salesman about getting it instead, most likely.
Also, Vista had a lot of bugs when it came out - but functions pretty well. I work at a computer help desk and all of our machines have vista. I've never had a problem with it. A lot of older people think it's a bad operating system because the interface is pretty different and shocking for those who are used to XP.

* This Freeware will provide you with a deep scan of both your Registry and Windows core for any Errors and Conflicts, then make a thorough diagnosis and fix all those errors and conflicts in your system. Also give you a complete diagnosis and deep scan of your current performance status and suggest optimizations, then clean out any junk and accelerate the whole system. Do a search for this.
