Windows Vista Basic or Home?

Im looking at buying a laptop. I can save some money by keeping the OS to Windows Vista Basic. And i know Home is alot better than basic. But i was thinking, since i have a Windows Vista Home Premium DVD sitting next to me… could i get it with basic, then but the DVD in the drive and do a simple upgrade, or do i have to re-install the whole OS,and install all the drivers again… Please help!

After looking at the information from Microsoft at this page: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/3af7e05f-4d2a-4af7-a168-9242f9093bb81033.mspx it looks like you should have no problem doing an upgrade. But be sure to read the info to be sure.
